Ingredients
Crust:
– 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1/4 cup sugar
Filling:
– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 (3 oz) package orange Jell-O
– 1 cup boiling water
– 1/2 cup cold water
– 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
– 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– Zest of 1 orange
Topping (Optional):
– Additional whipped topping
– Orange slices or zest for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until thoroughly mixed. Press this mixture into the base of a 9-inch springform pan. Place in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
Make the Orange Mixture
In a separate bowl, dissolve the orange Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and allow it to cool slightly without letting it set completely.
